Gay Youth UK

I am using the word "Trans" in the broadest sense, to include labels like genderqueer, transgender and transsexual. This was originally written from my own experience as a white Transperson/FTM who is perceived as both female and male. Of course, every Trans person is different, and would write this list differently. Also, some things, which are totally inappropriate with strangers or acquaintances, may be fine or welcomed in the context of a trusting relationship.

GFest is a platform for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and
queer artists and this year the festival will be taking place from the 9th
to the 22nd of November.

2BME is open for anyone who is LGBT aged 14-19yrs old, based in Devizes, Wiltshire and runs fortnightly on a Thursday evening.

Freedom Youth is a youth group for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and questioning young people aged 13 to 21 years of age. It meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm in central Bristol. Freedom Youth is part of the LGBT Youth work Team, Youth and Play Services within Bristol City Council.

BLAH meets weekly for social events, support, activities, friendship, trips and more around Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Kings Lynn and the East of England. BLAH is staffed by friendly lesbian, gay and bisexual project workers and offers a safe, friendly and confidential space for gay, lesbian and bisexual young people as well as those questioning their sexuality aged 25 and under to meet others.

2008 has been a busy year for us, with the re-launch of our website and the on-going re-haul of the forums, which should be coming in 2009 (a new year's resolution, perhaps).

4U is a youth group which aims to provide a safe and supportive venue for the targeted group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and sexually unsure young people. They provide a supportive environment and subscribe to gay and lesbian magazines and have a collection of lgb books and videos to lend.

A friendly group of LGBTQ young people aged 13-25 in the Plymouth area.

They meet every week between 6pm and 8pm in the city centre and provide a safe space where young people can meet other LGBTQ young people as well as getting information, advice and guidance.
